Seems somewhere along the line Em has missed the whole 100 pennies = 4 quarters = 1 doller...
We had a near meltdown this afternoon in the thrift store 'cause she was SURE she'd gotten the wrong change back - because she'd had tons of change and now only 2 dollers. We are now counting out 100 pennies on the red table in an effort to make this a little more clear.
*sigh*
Speaking of thrift stores... I just got a brand new pair of fantastic red sun glasses (that have not been mauled by children) for next to nothing! Whoo-Hooo!

Ooh! I love good thrift store finds! I was hoping to find some cute maternity clothes when I went this past week, but it was all SOOOOOOOOO ugly. ...such a letdown!
