But it's been too many days without blogging.
It's been over a week since I handed over Melrose... and it still feels good. It's like a weight lifted and I'm excited to yard sale in a couple of weeks and get rid of even more stuff. I've become burdended with it of late, and I'm ready to clear out!
I've been busy sewing... you can see on the gallary page some past and present projects. This week however, has been skirts for me. I have all these yards of fabric purchased with the express purpose of becoming a skirt, that have been sitting in the closet while I complain that I have nothing to wear. Pictures will follow.
This morning I sewed random mother of pearl buttons from my button jar onto my favorite white linnen shirt. It's original buttons kept falling off, and it just needed a little character.
Finally... I need work. Seriously. We are coming up several dollars short every month in the budget. Several sets of several dollars in fact.
Anyone want to buy a red truck?
