They are glorious busy things here.
We all go to first service @ The Vineyard, then the kids go to Sunday School- where jme and I "work the door" and make sure all kids are properly accounted for and don't go home with the wrong people. Then we hustle home to make lunch for our smallgroup, which lasts late into the afternoon. We head back to the church in the evening to help with Celebrate Recovery - and starting the week after next we'll be leading a Vespers Service on Sunday nights too...
I also got myself some dedicated sewing space.
Well... sort of.
jme has graciously given over the kitchen table to my machines. We never use it anyway. So now it is happily covered in half finished Christmas gifts and projects I'm really truly gonna finish this year! It is lovely to not have to haul out my machines every time I get a few minutes to spare for sewing. Anyhoo, it makes me exceedingly happy to be able to work and create and not feel bad. It's good to be 'given' freedom to create in my home...
In other news, Emily is now has her own blog. It was time. She has beautiful work that needs to be seen by the world! She is taking dozens of pictures every day and they are getting better and better. Check 'em out... she rocks.
