Today has been a day. Good thing there is Super Grover to cheer me up.

A year ago today was very bad, and today could have been. It was not. It was just a day. One of those oddly quiet, slightly grey, rather snuggly sort of days. I've wanted to go back to bed since I got up. I did not. There has been much coffee. But not enough.

We did lessons. We argued over the needfulness of actually writing what the lesson plan said to write. We wrote what we were supposed to write. We read. We played dress up. I sewed. I painted faces on meeps. I swept the kitchen 3 times. It doesn't look like it.

I have more sewing to finish, but that will have to wait for the weekend - when the kids are not here and I don't have to worry about being discovered.
