been a while...

The school year is nearly over... 1/2 the children have gone to mom's for the summer, and the others will go to dad in 2 weeks... we're all trying to adjust to change and new schedules.

There has been lots of sewing, and pictures will come later today (hopefully) when the batteries for the camera are charged and I can get them into the computer. Ahhhh, technology.

And in fantastic news - I will not have plaid sofas that need to be in a lodge much longer! I found a lovely vintage sofa on freecycle and it will be coming home tomorrow!! It needs to be covered (one of the cushons has a rip) but it has beautiful lines that match my beloved brown chair, and it's even being shampooed!
