So much for sewing last night - it totally didn't happen.
I am sick. I have a scratchy, raspy voice. My head hurts. I have a feaver last night, but it went away. I feel like someone poured hot wax into my sinus'. All I want in the whole wide world is to curl up in bed with a good book, a ton of medication that will knock me out, and hot tea. But there are little people about who needed lessons. And a moderator for their fights. And food.
So here is Tuesday's craftyness; a little tooth-fairy meep made for a little friend who has her first loose tooth! She's made from hand dyed flannel, with white on white (now blue) cotton wings. She's about 4" tall. And she sparkles - 'cause a tooth-fairy should sparkle! These will be showing up in the Etsy shop for sure!
I have seen a total of 3 snowflakes today, and I'm getting rather crankey about the weather. It is cold enough for snow. If I were in New England there would be snow and I would be happy. SNOW - that's really all I want for Christmas. Speeking of Christmas... Santa sent ahead a huge box of girly wonderment that's now taking up the floorspace in my closet. I opened it of course, giddy like a 6 year old.
No, I won't say what's in it. You'll just have to wait for Christmas!
But you can see what I did today while the girls were working... I finally got my prints from the bruderhoff framed and hung on the study wall above the girls' homework shelves.
